$80 Grammar Checking Software That Don't Work So Good
So I was working on something and came upon the need to check my grammar on something. Went exploring to http://grammar.com and ended up finding what, at first, seemed like it might be a good deal. The company, White Smoke, was selling their software for $80 ($79.95), and additional, more advanced versions, for only a buck ($1) each. I, however, was not in need of anythingthing major like a paid software download, so I went looking for some sort of online demo. Once I located it, I went ahead and checked my phrases for proper use of grammar. "Girls who smoke" and "girls that smoke" were my two (2) test phrases. Both phrases passed the online demo version's test for proper use of grammar. Then, just for kicks, I tried another phrase that I knew for certain, was grammatically in error. "She be at the house." Guess what? It passed! Check the picture yourself. Oh, and you probably don't want to go spending $80 on White Smoke's software either. Their programmers must be having a hard time seeing through all the White Smoke. My apologies for that one. I just couldn't help myself. Oh wait, here's another. They must be using a lot of White Smoke and mirrors to check your grammar. Ok I'm done. Enjoy the pic. I'm sure the guys at White Smoke will be.

Finally Microsoft Launches Their "Do It Yourself Online Store" Offering
Finally Microsoft launches their "Do It Yourself Online Store" offering. (See Photo Below) Going head-to-head with eBay's ProStores, and Yahoo's Small Business Services. Microsoft is also coming in with lower pricing over all. With an "in the end" monthly fee of $39.95, transaction fees of 1%, and listing fees of $.05, Microsoft shouldn't have too much trouble "taking over". We'll implement Microsoft's solution and report our progress as it progresses.

Meanwhile, with Amazon's WebStores, things seem to be working well and going smoothly. We are up to a total of 11 on line WebStores currently. The flexibility of the WebStores application / service is great. Take a look at the latest, Boomer's Bikes (BoomersBikes.com), where we even added YouTube videos at the bottom of the page, to go along with the bicycling theme. That's all for now... Back to the mines!

Amazon Web Services Wow and Hot Chocolate Ow!
We've been gradually integrating the use of Amazon Web Services into our infrastructure, and so far it's been more than impressive. We haven't even finished exploring that there is to offer. In the upcoming weeks there will be more detailed summaries of the various services available. For now, let it be said that Amazon Web Services establishes a whole new playing field. You guys are amazing.

So amazing, that on a brisk morning, one feels compelled to stop for a hot chocolate to sip on, whilst pondering the possibilities. Oh, but wait, hold on just a second now. First you have to work you way out of some 'S' shaped drive-thru exit, without spilling it all over yourself. What happened to the simple 'L' shape drive-thru? Ow!

In our next blog we'll explain how all of you writers and musicians can benefit in a big way with Amazon Web Services.
So watch for it or subscribe!
